The Mercedes-Benz Type 209 succeeded the Type 208 in 2002. Its design is similar to its predecessor but also to the R230. The success of this coupe sedan is undeniable, with more than 300,000 units sold worldwide. There are many variants, such as the DTM AMG Coupe. This special edition, produced in a limited run of 100 units, was launched in 2004 to celebrate Mercedes' DTM title win in the 2003 season.
