Firewall Steering Shaft Plate - E30 w/ Airbag
Upgrading to an E36 steering rack in a late-model, airbag-equipped E30 often requires modifying the firewall for clearance. In most cases, the bottom right corner of the steering column opening needs to be trimmed to allow the rack and shaft to pass through cleanly.
