Depends on how you're integrating it. If you're splicing it into an existing system, you'll likely need clamps rated for your diameter. For a full custom build, plan for exhaust hangers and brackets — neither are included here.
Can I weld this directly to another pipe or muffler?
Yes. Stainless steel can be TIG welded, but standard MIG welding is trickier — check with your fabricator. The flared end isn't designed for welding; it's there for slip-fit connections, so plan your joints accordingly.
Does the polished finish need any prep or sealing before install?
The polished surface is ready to go as-is. Once installed, exposure to exhaust heat will darken and patina the stainless over time — that's normal. No primer or paint required.
