Frequently Asked Questions
Will this work with an aftermarket front bumper cover?
This reinforcement bar uses factory mounting points on your RAM. If your aftermarket bumper uses the same OEM attachment locations, it'll work — but test-fit first since aftermarket designs vary.
Do I need to remove the stock bumper to install this?
Yes. Access to the factory mounting points requires bumper removal. Plan 1–2 hours with basic hand tools and a jack.
Can I paint this before installation?
You can, but we recommend installing first, then paint the assembly in place to avoid paint damage during handling and bolt-down. If you do paint beforehand, mask off mounting holes and bolt contact areas.
Products received may vary slightly from images due to manufacturing tolerances or supply chain variables.
