Do I need to remove my bumper cover to install this?
Yes. The reinforcement bar mounts behind the bumper cover, so you'll need to remove the cover first to access the mounting points. Once installed, the cover slides back on over it.
Will this interfere with any bumper sensors or fog light wiring?
Not if you route existing wiring carefully during reinstall. The bar itself doesn't contact sensor mounting points, but take time to check clearance on your specific car during test-fit.
Do I need to paint this before installing it?
Painting is optional. If you want color-match, remove the cover and bar together, prep, prime, and paint. If you're keeping it hidden behind the bumper, leave it as-is.
