Frequently Asked Questions
Will this hinge work with the factory hood latch?
Yes. This hinge is engineered to factory specifications, so it pairs directly with your OEM latch mechanism without adjustment or modification.
Do I need hood pins with this hinge?
Hood pins are optional and depend on your use case. Stock hinges don't require them for street driving, but they're a smart choice if you're tracking the vehicle or towing frequently.
What's the installation process?
Installation requires removal of the hood and unbolting the old hinge from the vehicle frame at factory mounting points — no drilling or new holes needed. Bolt the new hinge in place and remount the hood. Refer to your service manual for torque specs.
Products received may vary slightly from images due to manufacturing tolerances or supply chain variables.
