Yes. The system must be properly evacuated by someone with EPA certification before removal of the old condenser. After installation, have the system recharged and leak-tested. This isn't a DIY step without the right equipment.
Will this condenser work with my existing hoses and fittings?
It's designed to match factory connection points, but inspect your old hoses and o-rings before reassembly. If they show cracks or hardening, replace them during the swap—old rubber compromises a new condenser's performance.
What if the condenser arrives damaged?
