Frequently Asked Questions
Will this work with my existing mirror housing?
Yes—this is a direct replacement lens for the factory mirror assembly. The connector and mounting tabs match OEM specs, so it installs into your current housing without modification.
Do I need to remove the entire mirror from the door to install this?
The mirror housing stays on the vehicle. You'll remove the housing trim ring or backing cover, swap out the old lens, and reconnect the heating element. Refer to your service manual for exact disassembly steps.
What if the heating element doesn't work after I install it?
Test your vehicle's mirror heating switch first—it's usually a button on the door panel or climate control. If the switch activates but the lens doesn't warm, the vehicle's electrical circuit may need checking. A faulty replacement would be rare, but confirm the connector seated fully before troubleshooting further.
Products received may vary slightly from images due to manufacturing tolerances or supply chain variables.
