You'll need a socket set and a press or puller to remove the old hub from the knuckle. The assembly itself bolts directly to factory points using the original fasteners—no additional hardware required.
Will this stop the ABS light that's been on?
If the light is caused by a bad wheel speed sensor or internal bearing failure, replacing the hub assembly will likely clear it since the sensor ring is built in. If the light stems from an unrelated system fault, you'll still need a separate diagnostic.
How do I know if my bearing is actually bad?
Listen for grinding or humming that changes with speed, feel for play when you grab the wheel at 3 and 9 o'clock, or have a shop spin the wheel and listen. If it's loose, noisy, or your ABS is acting up, the bearing is done.
