Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need hood pins with this hinge?

Hood pins are optional. Your Civic's factory latch will hold the hood securely. Pins are typically added for high-performance builds or if you prefer added insurance during hard cornering.

Will this work with my existing hood latch?

Yes. This hinge mounts at factory points and pairs with your current latch assembly without any modification.

Do I need both hinges, or just the driver side?

If your passenger-side hinge is still solid, the driver side alone will work. If both are worn or damaged, replacing both ensures even hood operation and balanced support.

Products received may vary slightly from images due to manufacturing tolerances or supply chain variables.
