Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need fasteners to install this?
Mounting hardware is not included with the bracket. You'll need to source bolts and washers that fit your vehicle's factory attachment points — check your Passat service manual or have your dealer confirm the correct fastener size before ordering.
Will this bracket work with my front bumper cover?
This bracket mounts at factory locations on the bumper beam itself. Fitment depends on whether your bumper cover has an opening or cutout to access those points — test-fit the bracket against your bumper before committing to installation.
Does the bracket need any prep or paint?
The bracket ships ready to mount. If you want it color-matched to your bumper, you'll need to handle that yourself — hand-sand lightly and use automotive primer and paint suitable for plastic or metal, depending on the final finish you want.
Products received may vary slightly from images due to manufacturing tolerances or supply chain variables.
