Wipe the back of the housing and the mounting surface on your roof with a clean, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. This ensures solid contact if any adhesive surfaces are involved.

Installation is designed for DIY with basic hand tools and a socket set. Disconnect the negative battery terminal first, remove fasteners at the factory brake light location, unplug the old unit, and swap in the new one.
