Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to prep or paint this cap before installing?
The cap ships in primer-ready finish. Most buyers prime and paint to match their truck bed or tailgate. If you plan to leave it unpainted, a clear coat will slow oxidation. Either way, clean the surface before installation to ensure a secure fit.
What hardware do I need to bolt this down?
The cap uses factory tailgate mounting holes, so you'll be working with your truck's existing fastener pattern. Grab a socket set and refer to your vehicle service manual for torque specs. Fasteners are not included with the cap.
Can I remove this later without damage?
Yes. Bolt-on design means you unbolt it cleanly if you ever want to remove it. No adhesive, no permanent modification—the tailgate stays stock underneath.
Products received may vary slightly from images due to manufacturing tolerances or supply chain variables.
