LowerHQ Rear Upper Outer Control Arm Bushing Kit, 80A Poly, 1992-2005 BMW 3 Series E36 E46 and 2003-2008 Z4 E85
This Lower HQ kit replaces the rubber bushings in the rear upper outer control arm on the BMW E36 and E46 3 Series and the Z4 E85 with 80A polyurethane. Polyurethane flexes less than worn factory rubber, so the arm holds its position better under load and the rear stays more settled through corners and over bumps. The 80A hardness is chosen for both road and motorsport use, which makes it a good choice for street cars, track day cars and drift builds. Poly bushings are a common upgrade on older BMWs, where the factory rubber has often worn and softened. Replacing them can tighten up a rear end that feels loose or steers itself over bumps.
