This Lower HQ steering angle kit adds about 25 percent more front lock to the non-M3 BMW E36. The CNC-machined aluminum adapters bolt on between the knuckle, wishbone and tie rod, acting much like a hub spacer to change the steering geometry. They suit drift and grassroots motorsport builds where more angle and better control at full lock are the goals. Because they replace no major suspension parts, adapters like these are a low-cost way to get more angle before moving to a full angle kit. Check tire and chassis clearance at full lock once installed.
