You can have the best suspension parts in the world — but if your toe is off, your car won’t drive right. Whether you’re drifting, road racing, or just dialing in your setup at the track, a good set of toe plates is one of the smartest tools you can carry in your pit kit.
What Are Toe Plates?
Toe plates are flat, machined plates that you place against the sides of your front (or rear) wheels. By running a measuring tape between them, you can check and set your car’s toe — that’s the angle your wheels point in or out from a top-down view.
Toe is a critical alignment angle that affects:
- Steering response
- Tire wear
- Stability at speed
- Mid-drift control
Why Drift Cars Need Toe Adjustment Often
In drifting, your alignment is constantly changing due to:
- Wheel-to-wheel contact
- Suspension changes between rounds
- Wall taps and curb hits
- Tire and pressure changes
That’s why competitive teams use toe plates between every session — not just once in the pits.
SLR Pro Alignment Toe Plates: Built for the Track
Our SLR toe plates are CNC-cut from thick aluminum with engraved measuring guides, high-visibility marks, and built-in tape holders for fast, one-person alignment checks.
Key features:
- Ultra-stiff construction won’t flex under pressure

How to Use Toe Plates (Trackside or at Home)
1. Park on flat ground with your steering wheel centered.
2. Place the toe plates against the wheels.
3. Run a tape measure through the front and rear slots.
4. Subtract rear measurement from front — the difference is your total toe (in or out).
5. Adjust tie rods and re-check until you’re dialed.
Why Teams Trust SLR Plates
Used by grassroots and pro drift teams, our toe plates help you fine-tune alignment mid-event without guessing. They fit in your trunk, work fast, and never let you down — just like the rest of our suspension products.
